On Monday, the 14th of July, the Czech national team will play Belgium during the European Championship in Havlickuv Brod. The game will follow after the opening ceremony and the Czechs will play in special 22 years old rertro jerseys reminding their first official national team start.

„Softball in the Czech Republic is having a great time at the moment, but we would also like to remind our history. The jerseys we will wear in the game against Belgium are going to be sold in an auction and the money we will raise will go to the local children´s homes, with which we co-operate," Dusan Snelly said – the main organizer of the tournament. „I think it´s a great thing, which is not so often to see in softball. I´m glad that even sport like softball can help a good thing and whole national team is thrilled to be a part of it," said David Mertl, captain of the team.

The starting price of the jerseys is set for 999 crowns per one and the online auction will last until the 31st of July. Until then, everybody can bid and watch the whole auction online. The winners will get also a certificate with the signed jersey.

Auction of the jerseys will be on a website www.sportovniaukce.cz, where you can watch its progress.
