Great Britain
When it comes to batting sports, it comes as no surprise that people on the British Isles prefer the intriguing game of cricket. That being said, the British softball team will undoubtedly rank among the top four contenders at this tournament. The Brits have won three bronze medals in a row, and they would definitely like to put another medal into their collection. A member of the Commonwealth of Nations, Great Britain has the advantage of enlisting players from some of the world’s top softball nations. The British have seen success at the World Championship as well. In 2009, they were the first ever European team to qualify for the play-offs.
